Nakia was born and raised in the Indianapolis, Indiana metropolitan area. After several visits to Charlotte North Carolina, Nakia fell in love with the Carolina Culture and endless opportunities for Professional growth. North Carolina possessed the Hometown Indy feel she has always known, therefore she knew this would eventually be her Home away from Home.
